Isometrics (also called static contraction) are ideal for people who simply don't have the time to exercise,
yet want the health benefits of exercise. Ten minutes a day is all that is needed to obtain maximum benefits.
Isometrics are of great value to older people, as it does not require a lot of leg and arm movement; in
fact, it requires no movement at all! Thus, it will not tire out the user.
Bodybuilders and weightlifters benefit because it pushes them past "sticking points" in their exercise regimen.
